Here's a fun way to remember Queen Esther's courage when she asked the King to save her people! Once you're done, why not re-enact Queen Esther's story for your family and friends?

Directions for a Queen's (& King's) crown:

  1. Draw and color small "jewel" shapes on a piece of white paper (circles, diamond, triangles, etc.) with crayons.
  2. Cut out the "jewels" for your crown.
  3. Draw a jagged line evenly across the length of a piece of construction paper. Cut at the line. Now you have the two halves of your crown.
  4. Paste your colored "jewels" onto both halves of your crown - and be creative!
  5. Overlap the ends of both cut halves of your crown to fit your head. Use a piece of tape on the inside to hold it together and then glue the two halves together. Let your crown dry completely before wearing it.
  6. If you have some plastic "jewels" you can paste them on your crown too!

Make another crown for your best friend, and tell them about the Kids Korner website!
