Here's a fun way to remember Queen Esther's courage when she asked the King
to save her people! Once you're done, why not re-enact Queen Esther's story for your family and friends?
Directions for a Queen's (& King's) crown:
- Draw and color small "jewel" shapes on a piece of white paper (circles,
diamond, triangles, etc.) with crayons.
- Cut out the "jewels" for your crown.
- Draw a jagged line evenly across the length of a piece of construction
paper. Cut at the line. Now you have the two halves of your crown.
- Paste your colored "jewels" onto both halves of your crown - and be creative!
- Overlap the ends of both cut halves of your crown to fit your head.
Use a piece of tape on the inside to hold it together and then glue
the two halves together. Let your crown dry completely before wearing it.
- If you have some plastic "jewels" you can paste them on your crown too!
Make another crown for your best friend, and tell them about the Kids Korner website!
