Hey kids, here’s a really neat idea for one of those cold winter days when the snow is flying outside your window! (Or, if you don’t get any snow, here’s a way to make your own snowflakes!
  What You Need:
  • Q-Tips
  • Glue
  • Wax Paper
  • Glitter
  What You Do:
  1. Cut off a piece of wax paper, and put it down on the table.
  2. Squeeze out a good puddle of glue in the center.
  3. Arrange your Q-tips so the ends touch each other. Remember that snowflakes are generally six-sided.
  4. Make sure there’s enough glue to hold it together when it’s dry.
  5. Sprinkle glitter on the glue–try using different colors!
  6. If you want to hang your snowflake, add a piece of string to the glue before it dries.
  7. Wait a couple of days until you’re sure the glue is good and dry. Add a little more glue if needed, and let it dry. Peel snowflakes off the wax paper.
