Wow, check out what you can make with a paper plate, some crayons, markers, and pasta! It’s a great way to remember Daniel’s story and how he trusted God!
What you’ll need:
- Rotini (spiral pasta)
- An inexpensive paper plate, or construction paper (orange or white)
- Yellow, brown or orange crayons
- Magic marker
- Glue
- Googly eyes (optional)
What you do:
- Cut a circle from your paper plate or construction paper. If you’re using a paper plate with a coating on the eating side, just turn it over. It might be easier to color the bottom side of the plate.
- Draw the lion’s mouth, nose and eyebrows with the magic marker. If you’re using googly eyes, go ahead and glue them on.
- When the glue is dry, color the lion’s face with your crayons, making some lines to imitate his long fur. You can overlap the colors if you’d like. Be creative.
- Glue on the rotini along the outside edges to make the lion’s mane.
There ya go! It’ll look good on the refrigerator, or just keep it as a reminder to pray to Jesus when you feel afraid! He can take care of you just like He took care of Daniel when he was in the hungry lion’s den!
