It’s really easy, and you can make one for each of your friends!

What You Need:
|
|
|
- black and yellow pipe cleaners
- a pencil
- glue
- construction paper
- wire cutters or kitchen scissors
- google eyes (optional)

What You Do:
|
|
|
- Place your pencil (about a 1/2” below the eraser part) in the middle of the black pipe cleaner.
- Wrap both ends of your pipe cleaner around the pencil, winding your way up to the top. Leave the two ends loose at the top for the antennae.
- Cut your yellow pipe cleaner in half, and starting at the bottom of the black pipe cleaner, wrap it around the same way, all the way up to the top of the pencil. If you have extra, just snip it off with the wire cutters or kitchen scissors.
- Glue on the eyes (you can use two small circles of paper if you want). If you’re making it for someone you love, you can cut out two little hearts of construction paper with the words, “Bee” and “Mine,” and then glue them to each of the bee’s antennae! It makes a cute gift, and it’s so easy to make! Have fun!
