Have you ever peeled a banana that’s pre-sliced? Is that cool or what?
Here’s a great idea that will make even the grown ups wonder, “How
did you do that?”

|
What you do:
|
|
|
- Look at your banana
carefully and find a “seam” or ridge along the skin.
- Stick your toothpick
into the banana somewhere on that seam and wiggle the toothpick side to
side so that the toothpick cuts the banana but not the peel! Try to keep
the toothpick hole as small as you can to disguise it, and make sure you
slice the banana without poking the toothpick all the way through.
- Remove the toothpick
and repeat this process about every ½ inch down the banana. Do this until you
know that the banana is “cut” in about five or six slices inside.
- Find an unsuspecting
kid or adult and tell them that you’ve found a really cool banana
that already comes pre-sliced! They won’t believe you, of course, but
then have them peel the banana, and WOW – there it is! Do this at
breakfast time and then put the pre-sliced banana on your granola or cereal!
YUM!
Have fun!
