Here’s a cute craft you can make with just a few simple things. Keep it around to remind yourself that you are Jesus’ precious lamb!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Several white cotton balls
- One sheet of white construction paper (thin white cardboard will work also)
- 4 matchsticks
- Small piece of black yarn
- Small piece of black felt
- Scissors
- Tacky glue
- 1/8” wide red ribbon (optional)
Instructions:
- Fold your piece of construction paper in half.
- Cut an oval out of the construction paper. You now have two ovals for the two sides of the lamb’s “body.”
- Cut a triangle out of the black felt for the lamb’s “face.” With your scissors, cut off one of the sharp edges.
- Cut two small “ears” out of the black felt.
- Glue the lamb’s “face” to the inside end of the oval - so that the rounded edge sticks out.
- Have a grown up light and then quickly blow out each of the four match sticks.
- Glue the match sticks to inside of one of the ovals, making sure they stick out like “legs.”
- Glue your black piece of yarn to the opposite side of the oval for a “tail.” Unravel the yarn to make the tail look bushy.
- Glue the cotton balls to both sides of the lamb’s “body”
- Glue both sides of the “body together.
- Glue on an “ear” to each side.
- Tie a small bow in the red ribbon, and glue it to the cotton balls just under your lamb’s “face.”
